This is one of the magazines I created in the mock exam. The aim was to keep it simple yet effective. Using a photo of Beyonce then changing it in illustrator and then placing it in In Design and adding texted  in a type face on

Final Vogue

Johns awful business card.

This is the original business card of Johns however, this business card would be classed as 'Conflicting' as there is three different types on this card, however, they are all similar. A good business card is 'Contrasting' this means there would be three type faces on the card and they would be be all very different type faces another thing that makes a good business card is making sure the eye only has to move from one place to another only twice at the most making it quick and simple to read this makes it a fun good looking business card. If a business card was made up of text with the same type face that would be called 'Concord'.
This is my business card and as you can se i have changed it quite a bit making it look better and easier to read.

Strokes on text

I put a a weight of 1pt on some text as it was the right type face however, it wasn't thick enough and putting a small weight on it gives it that bit more thickness to it.

At this point in the process I have added all text and now I just need to take a photo of someone positioning them in the same way as Victoria Beckham is in this picture.

Vogue Magazine - heading

This is the start of my magazine I started off with the heading. I did this b finding a  similar type face as "VOGUE" I used 'fine style' I personally think this type face has used well.

Using Skew

Skewing is where you can change the degree your wring is at (false italics). The second screenshot is showing where I have used this technique. 

Kerning

In these screen shots I am showing kerning. Kerning is where you can change how large the space between each letter is. The second the screenshot is showing where I have used kerning.

Drop shadow. - NME magazine

As you can see I'm adding a drop shadow to the highlighted yellow box; to do this I click on object then down to effects then click on drop shadow. From there you can create a drop shadow and adjust it to suit you.

Well- these are all the pages of my Final product all printed out , however, it did take three printouts to get the folds in the right place and a straight cut.

Well- this is the front cover of my Final product all printed out , however, it did take three printouts to get the folds in the right place and a straight cut.

This is my new front cover to the Camera Manual. I changed the colours of the camera so I have a running theme of colours through my work which as you can see is blue and orange. These colours contrast with each other making them stand out.

This was the first improvement I made on my Camera Manual. I changed the background and the camera colour also the font I change the leading to 10pt to make it closer together.

This is the first attempt of making my Camera Manual , however, we came to the concullsion that it would look better with a white background and the same colours (orange and blue) running through the manual but only in the pictures.

To scan this picture in to the computer it had to be clear therefore, I had to go over the picture with a black thick marker.

This is the start of the Camera Manual project. The first thing I have done here is to draw what is going to be scanned in to the computer and be used in my user manual

, however , the only image I used here was the Flash image and the camera. 

The final business card - front and back

This is the final product! Front and back , however , if i was going to do this design again I would find a way to have no white around the sides of image.
